Betty has been eagerly awaiting pork sales at Weir River Farm. Head to the big red barn - run into a neighbor you've not seen since summer, chat with one of the dedicated and knowledgeable farmers, sign your kids up for a winter camp, and get your hands on the best pork around.
At Weir River, pigs graze in the fields and the woods – you can see them from the trails. They don't feed any livestock hormones, steroids, or antibiotics the farmers, they are truly raised with love and gratitude.

ENDANGERED INSTRUMENTS MONTH Throughout January South Shore Conservatory Duxbury & Hingham Campuses
Students of all ages may register for a free trial lesson on any of the following “endangered instruments”: bassoon, trombone, tuba, mallets, classical guitar, cello, double bass, harp, oboe, French horn or euphonium.
Each student will be matched with a faculty member who is a professional musician on that instrument. Goulet and Co. will provide a free rental instrument for the trial lesson.

SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL School Supply Drive at Old Colony Montessori 247 Gardner Street, Hingham
Old Colony Montessori School is collecting new and gently used backpacks, filled with essential school supplies, for donation to children in the remote villages of Guinea, West Africa where children are allowed to attend school only if they purchase their own supplies and uniforms. For most that's impossible, their families struggle to provide even basic human needs. Donate a new, or gently-used, backpack, school supplies and/or a new school uniform. Pencils, small manual pencil sharpeners, crayons, markers, paper {lined and colored}, chalk, and erasers. A check for $15 purchases a school uniform for one child. Drop supplies off at Old Colony.
