ATLANTIC SYMPHONY DISCOVERY CONCERT What do the composers, performers and audiences see when they listen? Do we all see the same things? Do we all see the same thing when we listen to music {remember those days when we dragged our friends to the laser light show? ok, so not really the same thing}. The Atlantic Symphony Orchestra will choose selections from the Sound of Music, Star Wars Suite, The Nutcracker and Peer Gynt Suite No.1 to educate and delight children. Also, ballerina Alexandra Storch who danced in recent production of Boston Ballet's "The Nutcracker" will perform on stage. After the performance, meet the musicians and hear their instruments up close during a post-concert instrument showcase, bustling with music centered activities. More info? Go here> Betty Tip: Spend $25 at Crew Cuts, Gymboree, Magic Beans or Snip-its, and get a free ticket to this event. |
