WHY I LOVE HINGHAM. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER

from David Ekizian

What I love about Hingham. In no particular order. Its proximity to the water. I don’t need to touch it, or swim in it. Just being able to see it has improved my quality of life.

The chicken salad with dill on tuscan bread at Circe’s Grotto. Okay, so this is technically in Scituate, but well worth the trip. Simply the best sandwich I have ever eaten. If we could only get them to open a huge mega-store in the Joseph’s Hardware building...

The pace, and the ease of getting around- Having lived out West {Wellesley, that is} prior to moving to Hingham, the congestion and frenetic pace {and the people to be honest} got to us. I love being able to get in the car at 8:55 for a 9:00 meeting in the Square- knowing that I will not hit traffic, and that there will be plenty of parking spaces. For the 3 mile trip in Wellesley, I would have to allow a 20 minute cushion, and pray there was parking. You don’t realize how good we have it here.

The Fruit Center, and their Colossal Cashews. I mean, have you tried them? They’re HUGE! Enough said.

Our neighborhood- specifically our neighbors. We could not have imagined moving into a better, more welcoming neighborhood, and gaining such a wonderful group of friends. If we ever had to move, this would be the one thing that I would miss the most about Hingham.

The new Sleepys at the Shipyard! Okay, maybe not...
